Can you post a paste of a relation literal that exhibits this problem, such as the relation below with "Display enhanced output" turned off?
That will help me see exactly what's going on.
So far, I've not been able to duplicate this.

Re: edit functions greyed out mysteriously
This is helpful -- it should allow me to track down what's causing it.

Re: Input nonappearance in output pane
Try checking "Preferences | Command line | Use an alternative output display to try to fix output problems." The standard output is actually hooking into the default Web browser. Depending on the version and type of default Web browser, it sometimes breaks, and the alternative output displ...

Re: edit functions greyed out mysteriously
Version 3.010 introduced menu equivalents for toolbar items, so it's likely that some interaction between the two causes this. Note that the Edit menu options only appear when the command-line -- with its toolbar edit options -- is active. Currently, only the command-line panel activates the Edit me...

Re: Backup includes stuff from another database
I've made a note in my "to do" list to provide encrypted backups, and encrypted logins to databases.

Re: Can't return to Name+Type in rel.exe
I still haven't been able to replicate this.
However, it's a feature I use frequently, so I'll inevitably see it at some point and can hopefully trace back the steps to consistently repeat it, and thereby fix it.

Re: Rev query problems
Forgot to mention using Rel v.3.010. While working on the above problem query I received the following error in the log. I have no idea if it's related to the "null" errors I'm also getting. RCP log: Status ERROR: org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench code=0 Internal Error org.eclipse.swt.SWTError:...

Re: Can't return to Name+Type in rel.exe
I've been trying to replicate this, but have been unable to do so. It seems to be working.
Note that you have to refresh or re-run the query (or display of the relvar) for it to reflect the change in column heading settings.

Re: Rel interface: Having to scroll to the bottom to add a tuple
Clicking the "Go to INSERT row" button was supposed to do what Ctrl-End should do, and neither of them do it. That's a bug. I'll fix that. Would that be sufficient, or would you prefer the blank row at the top as well? Psychologically, I find the blank row at the top a bit disconcerting, a...

Re: Rel interface: copy-and-paste would be nice
In order to avoid confusion with copy-and-paste of specific attribute content -- a thing that often annoyed me when using MS Access -- I suggest the following proposed solution: A "clone" button -- positioned alongside the existing "Go to INSERT row" and "DELETE selected tup...

Re: Backup includes stuff from another database
The Rel text editor preserves edit history in the database, so that you can retrieve previous edits and "undo". It looks like you perhaps were in database A and loaded a backup from database B into the text editor, which is now preserved in that history. You can safely DELETE sys.rev.Scrip...
