How about sharing the code using a Mercurial (http://www.selenic.com/mercurial/wiki/) so that anyone (like me ) can play with it, and if you like what I do, I can easily contribute it back to you? I could help only with simple stuff since I do not know much of the codebase, and sometimes my day job overwhelms me, but I am willing to try...

I'll consider using Mercurial or some equivalent. In the mean time, I'd be happy to give you an account on my SVN box so you can access the private repository. Send me a PM and I'll send back the relevant details.
