I'll send a zip file for this separately.
The problem, which has been occurring repeatedly with this particular database, is that when I've had an apparently successful DBrowser session in which I've done a few updates, the next time I try to run DBrowser I get the following message:
Unable to establish connection to local:D:\AllDocs\All Rel Databases\DDMP - java.lang.NullPointerException
Fortunately I back up at the end of every updating session. When I restore from the backup everything is fine again. I notice that in the database folder prior to restoration there are three .jdb files and a file je.info.0.lck. After restoration there is only one .jdb file and no je.info.0.lck.

Thanks for this report and the zip file. I'll examine it first thing tomorrow.

I've tested your backup, and have tried the updates you've described, in the soon-to-be released Rel version 1.0.9. I had no problems. I believe this to be related to the problem reported in http://shark.armchair.mb.ca/~dave/relfo ... ?f=2&t=500. The 1.0.9 update should fix it.
